ND on Air
Overview
ND on Air is a series of discussions that take place live by webcam via Google Hangouts On Air. The discussions hold up to eight students, one alumni speaker, and one moderator from the Notre Dame Enrollment Division. In their individual session, each alumni speaker shares their Notre Dame experience, and how it has influenced their life and career since graduation. With the help of their moderator, each alumni participant answers questions from students. Students who cannot participate on camera because of limited availability can tune in live, watch the discussion, and submit typed questions to the moderator.
Responsibilities
Alumni volunteers are asked to commit to a one hour session, and a brief training session. Volunteers must have a computer with a web camera, as these are video sessions.
Training
Training is a brief online session to discuss the format of the session and to make sure that the alumni participant is comfortable with the Google Hangout environment.
How to Volunteer
We have a limited number of ND on Air programs scheduled throughout the year. Please contact Karen Putt, Associate Director, Alumni and Parent Relations, for more information.
